 Weapons Of Old And Future Tech That Each Of Them Can Weaken And Destroy  Terminators 

1. Plasma weapons can kill most terminators due to it shooting high velocity hydrogen electrical blasts that can melt a T-600 and also a T-800. It can put some good dents in a T-850 but it's got to be violet plasma or else it wouldn't really do much damage to its endoskeleton because of it's added durability. Most noteably the phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range are used by the resistance to penetrate the T-800s endoskeleton and destroy them. Tier one plasma weapons carry red ammo and are quite deadly. They can destroy T-800s quite good so they are must when dealing with skynets machines.  

 

2. Most contemporary weapons such as an uzi 9mm submachine, light machine gun, and m16 will destroy less advanced terminators like the T-400 to about T-600. It all depends on what the terminators are made out of and what its weak against.  BMG sniper rifle rounds will do the trick against alot of terminators. A remington shotgun can kill some terminators but not a t- 800. It would only slow it down but just temporary as the T-800 terminators endoskeleton is too durable for it to do any damage other then its flesh.

3. Pipe bombs, canister bombs, land mines, and most explosives will destroy terminators and hk tanks. Very reliable and can craft materials to make them. The easiest one to make out of these is the pipe bomb. Some bombs are heavy and are harder to throw then others which can be a big risk when fighting against a tank or terminator as one mistake will cost you. Grenade launcher is another very good weapon as it can knock down most terminators and can cause some good damage.

4. Tier 2 violet second generation plasma rifles and assault rifles are the top tier weapons to use simply because they are extremely good at killing terminators, tanks, and aerials such as hunter killers. Resistance fighters have been good at scavenging for these and they have won many victories against skynet. 

5. Heavy turrets wether that's a browning machine gun on top of a helicopter or vehicle will do moderate damage to terminators such as the T-600s but not all will destroy them. Skynet thinks geometrically so it will keep modifying their units and upgrading them. Now a heavy plasma turret can destroy advanced to very advanced terminators with sufficient firepower. Most non humanoid hunter killers have two or 3 plasma turrets on either side or another on the top of it.

6. There are terminators that are invulnerable to contemporary, incindiary, and corrosive weapons. One such model is the T-3000 terminator and T-5000. The T-3000 is very very hard to kill due to it being made out of machine phase matter which transforms the person on a molecular level and can only be destroyed from strong magnetic weapons, time displacement field, mri machine, and emp. They can regenerate at such a fast rate that most weapons including plasma won't stop them. A T-5000 terminator's endoskeleton can be destroyed by a strong external force. The other form which is ionized air particles that can only being destroyed by making skynet self destruct by blowing up it's central core.
